Notice Regarding the PANJIT International Inc. Semiconductor Manufacturing Factory Fire

PANJIT International Inc. Gangshan factory had experienced a fire incident at around 15:19 on 29th March 2021. The fire was put out shortly. The location of the fire was at the electrical room on the top floor of Building C. All employees were evacuated safely by following emergency evacuation plan. The factory was accompanied by Kaohsiung City Fire Department for on-site inspection. PANJIT’s emergency response team confirmed that no injury was sustained by any employee. The cause of the fire incident is still under investigation.

Gangshan factory has three independent buildings, Building A, B, and C, the fire incident only occurred in the electrical room of the top floor of Building C; this electrical room only supplies electricity to small area. Therefore, the impact is very limited. After Kaohsiung City Fire Department safety inspection, Building A and Building B are able to resume back to scheduled production.

Since PANJIT has fire insurance, the insurance company will proceed a formal investigation in order to process fire claims. The area impacted by this incident was minimal with no significant impact on the company's finance and business.
